Supertemporal: 1-4

These are the weekly adventures of the Victorian era's first time traveler.
Lady Gibson has gone Supertemporal.

A daguerreotype of colleagues on a most auspicious occasion.

Nostalgia is quickly replaced by terror. The greatest of fears is that Lady Gibson is hopelessly marooned - the least concern is that she is now 4000 years old.

Lady Gibson's arrival piques the interest of the locals.

It is apparent that the commoners suffer greatly from afflictions both physical and psychological. They appear eager to share.

Next Book!

San Diego Comic-Con 2012! The world was supposed to end, but somehow, we survived! Glad we did, because otherwise, Aluminum Shepherds #1 wouldn't be debuting in booth 1945!

Aluminum Shepherds is a story about a father/daughter contractor team that helps build planets far away in the universe. The father, Blake, had a VERY different life before his daughter Lena arrived, and present circumstances force his secret past to the surface.

These are a few panels from the 28-page first issue.

More art to come as time permits! See you in San Diego!

Steampunk Poker: San Diego Comic-Con booth #1945

Hey all! This is what I've been working tirelessly on for the last few months: Steampunk Poker! It's a complete artistic redesign of a deck of playing cards, all the way down to the smallest detail.

The cards have all been redesigned to reflect Victorian aesthetics, and the face cards all feature unique Jacks, Queens and Kings according to their respective houses. Hearts feature the adventurous types, Clubs represent everyday working stiffs, Diamonds are the posh aristocrats, and Spades are ornately detailed robots. Of course, all members of these houses have a steampunk twist.

As a special treat, I've designed a handful of deluxe boxes to unveil at Comic-Con and sell online thereafter. The deluxe kits include a deck of cards, 25 hand-crafted Steampunk Poker chips, a decorative insert that displays which hand trumps the other, and other decorative elements wrapped up quite fancily inside a finished wooden collector's case.

The deluxe kit contents:

Visit the Rankinstein booth at #1945. We hope to see you there!
I'll post more details after the convention!

About my abduction...

I can't believe I've been away for so long!!!
I wish to offer Saint Blogulous (the Patron saint of blogs) this humble and crappy image of Judge Dredd as an offering.

And I vow to keep up with this thing more frequently, starting with pages from Codename Hart that I finished last... June. JUNE? REALLY?!

Fairly Odd Puppies gallery

Wow... what's with all the dust, cobwebs and skeletons wearing Dharma Initiative jumpsuits?

OH YEAH! I haven't updated anything in... a long, long time. But it's all for a good reason - I'm busy working on Codename Hart. Out this summer! More details on THAT later.

But first, here's three pieces I put together for our crew (Fairly Oddparents/Tuff Puppy) art gallery at Nickelodeon.

"Justice ful-filled in Twinkstone"

"Warlock of Fudge Mountain"

"What cost, Cupcake?"

Yay, satire!
